Tonight's agenda for myself, shooting highlights for high school games at Wayne and at Northridge. Should be some pretty good games, with one exception.... Rain. The upper level low that has been sitting in the plains all week long has been pulling the moisture up from the Gulf of Mexico, and it looks like it will be the same case for the next 24 hours.
Normally I wouldn't mind to be out in the rain, but carrying a camera that weighs about 25 pounds and making sure it stays dry isn't exactly as much fun as a barrel full of monkeys. The only good side to it, is that I hope it will make for interesting games with slippery and muddy conditions. I can look forward to that tonight, but it looks like for the Buckeye game, it will be wet as well tomorrow, but they now have the all weather field, so no mud there....
I am also wearing an outfit that you may get a chuckle out of, jean pants, jean jacket, and Chuck Taylors. It isn't so much the converse; its the jean apparel. I enjoy wearing jean clothing, it fits my style, and actually it was one of the first reasons my girlfriend, Dawn, recognized me. She told me later that she made fun of me, but I didn't care, its what the cool kids are doing. I was born in the 80's so why not represent? Well it looks like I better get ready to take my jean apparel out into the elements for the high school games!! Have a good one!!
