My pumpkin friend

Just when you think you have seen it all... my job pushes the envelope a little further. A West Carrollton business uses a laser etching machine to design artwork on lots of things... jeans, wine glasses, wine bottles, tiles, etc, etc(endless possibilities). Well instead of carving a pumpkin and it rotting in a week or so, Laser Wolf Engraving can engrave the image into the surface of the pumpkin and it can last up to eight months afterward. I was the first photo he had tried and it was quite impressive. I did the story with him because he recently did a huge job for University of Cincinnati. They had about 1400 apples engraved and sent out to high schools to help with recruitment. Very impressive technology.

Still talking about a lot of sunshine and warm temperatures, again. I am really loving this beautiful weather. Although my grass becomes a jungle after a couple days with all the sunshine, warm temps, and wet ground from last month. We will be tapping out in the low 80's the next few days and remain pretty much unchanged for a while, BUT there is rain at the end of the tunnel, mid next week. Have a good one!

Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
