Preparing For Winter

Well after eating some AWESOME Chinese from Hunan House in Miamisburg today, Dawn and I started getting the house ready for the winter.  We bought some caulk and I went around the outside of the house, mainly the windows, and sealed up any open cracks where air could sneak in.  I then did the inside just to be safe.  We also got a few curtain rods for curtains in our exercise room.  Despite not wanting people to watch us work out, the windows are pretty big with no blinds or shades and would let a lot of the heat out and the cold air in.  (Don't worry, the large window only faces our neighbors garage wall, and they actually moved out and are trying to sell the house.)  But we are just gearing up for the cold temps, and that is exactly what the forecast has in store for us.  We hit 62 today, but all of the temps on the 7 day forecast are below that....brrrr.

I had a hard time trying to decide what to wear tonight if I meet up with Dawn and a few friends.  They are all going out for Halloween, but obviously I will be in the weather center until late into the night and will not have time to run home and change.  Either I just go as a business man (lame), or wear a skinny tie, take a soccer ball, and go as a hotter (heavier) David Beckham, hahahaha.  I am literally laughing out loud right now.  I better get off here before my jokes start getting bad and I stop hitting 1.000....wait, that is baseball, not soccer....have a good one!

Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
