Morning showers and storms still around, but hopefully the last time I will say that for several days.
More showers and storms later today and some of the storms are expected to be strong. We are under the Slight Risk for severe weather later today with the main threats being hail and damaging winds, but a slim chance for an isolated tornado. We will have a better idea on how the atmosphere is shaping up once the 8AM weather balloon is launched. I will post a more in-depth update later this morning so be sure to check back in.
The good news is that the cold front on the way will blast through late tonight and the above model for 10PM has most of the rain clearing out of here by then. Tomorrow looks drier, cooler, and humidity dropping throughout the day. We have a couple of fantastic days ahead so try to get out there and enjoy it. Again, be sure to check back in later this morning with a more in-depth look at our chances for severe weather. Got to run down to get ready for the show. Have a good one!
