Happy Fourth of July!

I got to wear my festive tie today that I rarely get the chance to wear.  We even had a red white and blue doughnut eating competition.  I took down Carolyn Bruck with no sweat, but I enjoyed her big game that she talked.
I went over to Reynoldsburg last night for the fireworks with Dawn, her cousin Sara and baby Anderson.  Sara's husband was working do it was nice to be able to be there for the baby's first fireworks.  He was a bit fussy since he was up two hours passed his bedtime, but once the fireworks started he was glued to the sky.  Goodtimes.

On the way home we could see Red, White, & Boom over downtown Columbus.  The picture above is from the grand finale.
With all the wet weather the last 13 days... yes, we have had rain somewhere in Central Ohio for the last 13 days... At least the ground has been wet.  I pulled some weeds yesterday in the garden and it is perfect for weeding.
More rain is pushing in now.  You can see on the loop above that there is a decent band of rain moving in from Kentucky.  It is going to be a bit of a soggy holiday, but our chances for severe weather are very low.  Just some steady persistent rain with a rumble or two of thunder.  The rain continues into early Friday then we start to dry out a little for the weekend.  By dry out, I mean we see the spotty rain return instead of the big mass of rain.  So the pop-up showers and storms return for the weekend and early next week along with temperatures climbing slowly up into the upper 80's.  At this point... we likely could see a stretch of 20 days with rain somewhere in Central Ohio.  At least the rain for the weekend and next week looks to be isolated and not widespread like today.

Anyway, enjoy the holiday and stay safe.  I will be spending the next few days with family, so have a good one!

Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
