Hanging in there!

Hey guys!  It has been a while.  With what is going on in the world with COVID I have been focusing almost every free minute on spending time with my kids.  We have been doing our best to stay busy.  I have been working from home most of the time and then walk upstairs after the morning show and instantly go into "dad mode." I have been trying to spend less time on my phone and social media and focusing on playing games with the kids and making the most of our beautiful weather, or fun inside when it has been raining. I have had a LOT of complaints about this spring not being a "good one," but I respectfully disagree.  We have been outside doing so much lately and 80% of the time it has been great weather to be outside.
The kids and I have been exploring some of the cool places around Central Ohio.  This is at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park.
I have been running a lot.  I actually ran more than 200 miles in May.  Most miles have been on my neighborhood roads, but occasionally I have been able to get away to some nearby trails.
I also ran another marathone for Bigger Than The Trail virtual run.  BTTT is a great organization helping runners with mental health counseling.  Very happy to run their virtual race and ran a marathon for their "Block Party" which requires the runner to run circles of their block.  Quite a mental challenge and it took me 25 loops for the 26.2 miles.  I pushed the kids in the stroller for about 8 loops. Dawn and the kids made me this awesome finish line in the driveway. (Evan was reaching his normal nap time)
One more mild day with lots of sun then we crank up the heat and humidity.  Lots of sun today with morning temps a little cool and dipping into the 40s.  We will warm into the lower 70s today.  A warm front will move through overnight and early Tuesday and that will bring more clouds tonight then clearing skies tomorrow.  There is a very slight chance of rain, mainly northeast as the front lifts through.  Warming into the mid 80s for Tuesday and humidity rising. We heat up into the mid-upper 80s for Wednesday through Friday with the chance for some scattered showers and storms fueling off of the heat and humidity.  A cold front will swing through late Friday night into early Saturday.  This will bring in drier weather for the weekend with highs around 80.  Have a good one!

Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
