Running with Cleveland peeps again, before it gets HOT!

Spent yesterday morning running around Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I went 90 minutes early and ran a little more than 6 miles before the group run.

I am a HUGE fan of running through pine forests.  The needles are soft under your feet and it is so zen-like when the trees are planted in perfect rows.
It was great to log some miles with some of the Cleveland trail peeps.  It was their annual run to check out the blue bells.
The snow last week caused them to wilt some, but still a really awesome time.  I ended up with almost 21 miles for the day. Temps were in the mid 40s with cloudy skies most of the time, so it was perfect running conditions.
Good Monday morning! Remember that we had snow last week... well we are about to warm into the 80s this week! Today we are starting off with a Frost Advisory with temps dipping into the 30s. Mostly sunny skies will warm us up fast to around 70 for the high today. A warm front lifts through during the late afternoon and evening with a few more clouds and a very slim chance for a spotty shower, 10% chance. We stay warmer overnight with Tuesday morning temps around 50. We will see a few more clouds Tuesday, but staying dry and warming to around 82, which will be 15 degrees above normal. More clouds on Wednesday and we have a cold front to our west that will be approaching. There is a chance for some rain later in the day and the timing of that rain will determine if we reach the 80 degrees again or a little cooler if the rain sneaks in for the afternoon. More rain is likely for Thursday, on and off, with showers and a few storms possible. Highs will be around 70 on Thursday. Friday we are on the tail end of the system and we will have highs in the 60s with a few lingering showers possible, but drying out. Highs in the 60s on Saturday with partly cloudy skies and then we warm back into the 70s on Sunday with partly cloudy skies. Have a good one!

Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
