Un-honeymooning...

It is soooo hard to get back into the normal swing of things. It is, but it isn't. It is nice that I have been doing weather night-side basically since we landed a week ago, but it was nice to wake up and look out at the ocean. My sleep schedule is way out of whack and I was up til 4AM last night editing honeymoon video. I cut it down to 14 minutes but still need to cut it down more. I am also waiting for Dawn to pick out a few songs to use under the entire video. It is really nice editing on the new computer Dawn got me as a wedding gift... so nice and streamline.

I have also been slowing trying to clean up the disaster zone in the house. It was hard just to find room to put the computer on the table to edit. We are trying to get it slowly organized and we are going to paint a few rooms as well before we get our new bedroom set and mattress. Busy hectic time at the house, for sure.

Temperatures were a little warmer today and will continue to warm the next few days into the mid 80's. We have a slight chance for rain on Thursday, but the cold front will not have a lot of moisture to work with so we will only see scattered precip, at best. Temperatures cool off slightly before jumping back into the mid 80's for the weekend and more rain arrives late Sunday into Monday. Take it easy and have a good one!

Best,
Andrew Buck Michael

  1. Ah, yes, settling in. :) So nice.

We've really enjoyed these cooler days. In fact, yesterday we came up your way to the Air Force Museum. Gorgeous day for that.

  2. Well, Sounds good to me. What kind of computer did you get?

I hope we get our new replacement roof on before the rain arrives. All of the new roof material is up on the roof since last Saturday but no roofers showed up yet.
