What a weekend!

This is what a Summer weekend is all about!  Summer Rain and the season Summer too!
We had a wedding Friday evening and Grandma and Grandpa were in town.  Grandma LOVES the water so she turned on the sprinkler for Summer on Friday.  Summer loved it.
The wedding was dry & warm, but absolutely beautiful.
So happy for Sarah and Mark.
Saturday was all about staying cool.  We set up our new beach tent for some extra shade in the backyard.   We tried doing the sprinkler again, but it wasn't cutting it...
Then it was time to get on more sunscreen.  Grandma wanted to find a splash pad.
Here is Summer with Grandpa and Grandma, or as they like to be called: Funpa and Funma.
Summer didn't know what to think of the water at first.
Or even after a little play time.
But then, she warmed up to the water.
And had a blast!

I think the kid in the BEAST shirt tried getting in every single one of our photos.
Summer also tried an italian ice for the first time... and she was a fan.
We had to go back in the water to clean all the sugar off.
Then it was time to get cleaned up.  Saturday was also the 5 year anniversary for our wedding.  So we went back to La Scala for dinner.  This is where we had our wedding reception.  There were two other wedding receptions there, but not in the big ballroom. We've been married for 5 years and together for 9.  I couldn't imagine my life without her... she is is my rock.
The big ballroom was empty, so we stopped in for a photo.
One thing that we LOVED about the spot was the bar.  So Dawn wanted a picture in front of it again.
We did a big breakfast on Sunday morning and Summer tried bacon for the first time ever.  She was a fan!
A warm and mostly dry start to the workweek. Just a very slight chance for a pop-up shower Monday afternoon, but most of Central Ohio will be staying dry most of the week. We see a mix of sun & clouds through the first half of the week with highs in the upper 80s. Then the second half of the week will have highs in the low 90s with pop-up showers/storms possible in the afternoons. The best chance of rain will be Friday with a cold front expected that will cool us off some by next weekend. Have a good one!

Best,
Andrew Buck Michael
